Job Description/Responsibilities
Join our client's team as a Payroll Officer and be the key to smooth, accurate, and timely payroll operations! As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, from collecting timekeeping information to issuing pay and communicating payroll details to the relevant stakeholders. Your attention to detail will ensure smooth and accurate payroll operations. What You'll Be Doing: • Collecting and verifying payroll source information • Inputting employee information and payroll data into the system • Addressing payroll-related questions and concerns from employees • Calculating hours worked, taxes, and deductions • Issuing statements with earnings and deductions details • Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies • Maintaining and updating payroll records • Preparing regular payroll reports • Entering payroll journals
Job Requirements
A Little Bit About You: • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal) • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care • Strong team player, able to work independently while meeting daily expectations • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize and work well under pressure • Flexible, customer-focused, and adaptable to change Minimum Qualifications: • Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field • At least 2 years of relevant payroll experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
